Senior Frontend Developer

Join us at Monefy, where you’ll play a crucial role in our initiative to transform mental health care through innovative technology. As our Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll craft sleek, functional, and intuitive interfaces that will allow mental health professionals to help patients.

The role extends beyond development to include input on product and technical decisions, with an emphasis on building transformative user experiences in mental health technology.

What you'll do

• Design and develop the user interface of a single-page application using a modern JavaScript framework, ensuring an exceptional user experience
• Work closely with the other devs, CTO and product owner and testing team to translate visions and concepts into high-quality, accessible web applications
• Provide input about what should be implemented, and how — you get a say in how the final product will look like
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure that the application works well on both desktop and mobile devices
• Integrate with REST APIs to fetch and display data efficiently
• Collaborate with the testing team to ensure end-to-end testing and quality of the frontend components
• Work within a small, flexible team that wants to get stuff done and doesn’t care about useless meetings or ceremonies

What we're looking for

• Minimum of 4 years of experience with frontend development, with expertise in frameworks like React (preferred), Vue.js, or Angular
• Experience with component libraries such as shadcn, Shoelace, Material UI, Ant Design or similar
• Experience with all the key concepts associated with Single Page Applications, including state management (e.g., Redux, Vuex), client-side routing (e.g., React Router, Vue Router), asynchronous programming (e.g., AJAX, Promises, async/await), and API integration
• Hands-on experience with Git
• Proven experience working with Unix-based operating systems
• A strong understanding of user experience design and implementation
• Good command of the English language, with strong communication skills

Nice to have

• Proficiency in React would be an advantage
• Experience with OpenAPI standards
• Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for Single Page Applications
• Exposure to the mental health industry or startup environments is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
